Three Paths to Fifty:

The Week Platform History Crossed New Milestones

This week, three technicians reached the 50-job milestone through three remarkably different paths, each revealing something fundamental about what it takes to build a lasting career on the platform.

Shaphan Hawks hit 50 lifetime repairs in just 19 days, logging his first job on March 18 and averaging 2.6 repairs per day with 36 in March and 14 in early April. It's the fastest sprint to fifty in platform history. Ulises Perez of PROFIX crossed 50 repairs with a refrigeration focus, completing 6 LG and 5 KitchenAid refrigerator jobs among his 58 lifetime repairs, with 53 logged in March alone. Meanwhile, David Hair reached 50 lifetime jobs via the long game: 17 repairs, 26 inspections, and 7 installations over 5 months, specializing in Rheem water heaters (13) and GE ranges (9). Three roads, one destination, each sustainable in its own right.

But the week's most striking story belongs to Danny Gutierrez of Home Hire, who now holds 449 lifetime repairs and a platform-record 32-week active streak. His March volume of 77 repairs set a new single-month record. The acceleration is staggering: from 6 repairs in January 2025 to 47 in January 2026 to 77 in March 2026, a 13-times increase over 14 months. Gutierrez is one repair away from 450 lifetime, a threshold no one has touched.

Behind him, the battle for second place continues to tighten. Hector Ruiz holds 241 lifetime repairs after an explosive start: 85 in December 2025, then 63, 61, and 43 across the next four months. Vasilii Kirillov of SET Appliance is chasing with 165 repairs and an 18-week streak, maintaining a steady 45 to 50 repairs per month since December 2025. The gap is 76 repairs, but momentum matters, and Kirillov's consistency is formidable.

In the inspection arena, Justin Nunn holds 162 lifetime repairs plus 259 inspection jobs, maintaining a 13-week streak and logging 101 to 112 jobs per month in the first quarter of 2026. His inspection database spans 31 LG washers, 27 LG dryers, 25 GE refrigerators, and 23 Samsung refrigerators, the largest field intelligence collection on the platform.

That Samsung refrigerator expertise is timely. Platform-wide, Samsung refrigerator repairs surged from 5 per month in October and November 2025 to 27 in January 2026, stabilizing at 12 to 17 per month, a three-to-five-times sustained increase. Multiple specialists are driving the growth: Gutierrez with 17 lifetime, Ruiz with 14, Nunn with 23, and Kirillov with 7, all adding Samsung refrigerator capacity as the platform scales.

Marco Palacios of El Marco Appliance Service quietly reached his own milestone this week: a 30-week streak with 94 lifetime repairs, specializing in Whirlpool washers (11) and GE dryers (10). His trajectory tells the story of sustainable production: 4 repairs in September 2025, ramping to 16 to 23 per month through fall, stabilizing at 12 to 22 in 2026.

Danny Gutierrez is one repair away from 450 lifetime. Shaphan Hawks and Ulises Perez are on pace to challenge for top-ten all-time rankings by summer. The platform's career arcs are accelerating, and the records keep falling.
