Shaphan Hawks of ASAP Appliance Repair didn't just win October. He lapped the field. His 115 repairs were the most on the platform and 50 more than Alex C's 65, and that gap was the headline of a month in which the rivalry everyone had been watching tilted hard toward ASAP.
Alex C had the better quarter, winning it 390 repairs to 351, but he slipped to 65 in October. He had no jobs in the final week, so he carries no streak into November. Hawks ended the month on a 33-week streak, the longest of anyone we checked. Danny Gutierrez of Home Hire Appliance Repair is next at 24 weeks, and he posted 23 repairs this month. Marco Palacios (12) and Carlos Montano (10) also reached double digits.
The most interesting story of the month came in a smaller category. GE dishwasher jobs rose 114%, from 7 in September to 15 in October, and a newcomer to the top spot took them. Vasilii Kirillov of SET Appliance led with 5 repairs, one ahead of Alex C's 4. Kirillov finished the month with 42 repairs across about 20 brand and appliance combinations. His streak stands at 13 weeks, and he also logged 2 installations and the platform's only inspection scouting job.
Behind Hawks, the chasing pack was tightly packed. Nick Harko of Good Tech Appliance took third overall with 61 repairs, plus 4 maintenance jobs, and his 14-week streak is active. Victor Acosta of Tammy's Appliance Repair finished fifth with 41 repairs, one behind Kirillov's 42. Acosta's 15-week streak is two weeks longer than Kirillov's 13. The two also met in the washer categories. Hawks led GE washers with 9 repairs to Harko's 6, and led Maytag washers with 7 to Harko's 4, so between them they ran the washer categories.
The brand-level numbers moved just as much. Maytag was one of the few brands on the rise: washers climbed 80%, from 10 to 18 jobs, and dryers doubled from 6 to 12. Whirlpool went the other way. Its washers fell from 24 jobs to 9, the biggest drop on the board, and Samsung refrigerators fell 71%, from 17 to 5.
At the top of the volume chart, GE and LG washers tied for the busiest category with 22 jobs each. GE refrigerators followed with 19, and Whirlpool refrigerators with 18. Frigidaire ranges doubled from 4 jobs to 8. Frigidaire ovens (3) and Kenmore refrigerators (3) returned after a zero month. Both categories have been on the platform since November 2025.
Overall, this was a repair-dominated month. Of 393 jobs, 384 were repairs, along with 6 maintenance jobs, 2 installations and a single inspection. Field scouting was almost absent, and Kirillov logged the only inspection.
November opens with Hawks far in front and Alex C needing a comeback. Watch whether Maytag's rise holds, and whether Whirlpool and Samsung can bounce back.
