Two Join the Century Club as Hawks Extends a 29-Week Streak and Alex C Closes In
The week of September 28 to October 5 gave the platform's long-term story two fresh chapters: a pair of technicians crossing the 100-job line, and a chase at the top of the all-time Repair board that is starting to tighten.
The milestones came first. Victor Acosta went from 99 jobs to 107 this week, reaching the century in under four months, and 98 of his jobs are repairs. His ramp-up tells the story: 14 jobs in June, 16 in July, 33 in August and 44 in September, roughly triple his June volume. Luke Miller also got there, reaching 101 jobs, up from 96. His path was less direct. He logged nothing in July or August, then came back with 17 in September, and 84 of his 101 jobs are repairs.
Consistency is its own kind of record, and the weekly streaks show who has been showing up. Shaphan Hawks is at 29 consecutive weeks and still active. It is his longest streak, and he has already logged 7 jobs in October. Danny Gutierrez has an active 20-week run, and with a personal best of 35 weeks, he is within reach of his own record. Marco Palacios is active at 12 weeks and rebuilding from a 38-week career-best streak, the longest in this set. Alex C, at 17 weeks, and Victor Acosta, at 11, are also still going.
The all-time Repair board is where the longest arc plays out. Shaphan Hawks of ASAP Appliance Repair leads with 604 repairs, all of them his platform jobs. His best month is August at 129, followed by September at 125. Behind him sits Alex C of Integrity Services with 490 repairs, all logged since June 8. In September, Alex C's 140 jobs beat Hawks' 125 for the month, and his four-month curve of 93, 133, 117 and 140 shows a rising trajectory.
The gap between first and second is 114 repairs. Vasilii Kirillov of SET Appliance is third with 333, and Danny Gutierrez (282) and Justin Nunn (278) are close behind.
The category trends add some texture. GE washers (all job types) logged 10 jobs in June, then 14 in July, 27 in August and 24 in September, more than double June's volume. Samsung refrigerators (all job types) climbed from 10 jobs in May to 22 in July and 24 in August, then eased to 17 in September. GE washers are also Hawks' top specialty, at 43 lifetime jobs, with Samsung refrigerators next at 35.
Taken together, the week gave us two new centurions, a 29-week streak and a 114-repair gap at the top. Alex C's September lead over Hawks makes that gap worth watching. Next week, we'll see whether Victor Acosta keeps climbing and whether Danny Gutierrez gets closer to his 35-week mark.
