September came down to a two-man race, and the margin was just 15 repairs. Alex C of Integrity Services finished the month with 140 repairs, every one of them a repair and none another job type. That was the top monthly total on the platform. Right behind him was Shaphan Hawks of ASAP Appliance Repair with 125, and Hawks brought his own credential: the longest active weekly streak on the platform, at 29 weeks.

The two men won in different ways. Alex C is a generalist who logged work across 20 brand and appliance combinations. LG refrigerators led his book at 10 jobs, followed by GE washers at 9, and his weekly streak stands at 17. Hawks, meanwhile, planted a flag in the month's biggest category.

That category was Whirlpool refrigerators, which topped the board with 27 jobs, up 59% from 17 in August. LG refrigerators followed at 25. Hawks owned the territory with 11 Whirlpool refrigerator repairs, while the next tech, Victor Acosta, logged 3. Samsung washers had a month of their own, doubling from 8 to 16 jobs. Alex C led there with 6 repairs, and Nick Harko was second with 3.

Beyond the headline categories, the month's patterns read like a ledger of winners and losers. Dryers surged across the board: GE dryers rose 73% to 19 jobs, Whirlpool dryers rose 54% to 20, and LG dryers added a 60% gain to reach 16. Other categories went the opposite way. KitchenAid refrigerators fell 82%, from 11 jobs to 2. Samsung refrigerators slipped 29%, from 24 to 17, and GE dishwashers dropped 42%, from 12 to 7.

Then there was the comeback. Frigidaire refrigerators jumped from 2 jobs to 9, a 350% gain. Harko led that charge with 4 jobs, and Alex C followed with 3.

Harko is also one of the stories behind the leaders. He took third place with 74 repairs, plus 10 maintenance jobs on top, and he is on a 10-week streak. Acosta placed fourth with 36 repairs and an 11-week streak. He also did the most field scouting, with 3 of the platform's 8 inspections, and logged 5 maintenance jobs.

Further back, the chasing pack is steady. Vasilii Kirillov of SET Appliance logged 27 repairs, and Marco Palacios of El Marco Appliance Service logged 23. Their weekly streaks stand at 9 and 12 weeks, respectively, and Palacios's run is the longer of the two despite the lower repair count.

In all, September closed with 477 repairs out of 510 total jobs, and the top spot was decided by just 15 of them. October will show whether Alex C can hold his lead, and whether Shaphan Hawks can keep his streak going.
